Mug
v. The Singaporean version of cramming for exams, i.e. scanning notes into one's brain. As if it wasn't filled with enough junk already.
Only if Necessary
adv. The night before for classroom assessments; one day for lecture tests; and one day and night (per subject) for major examinations.
This author is currently on hiatus for the ignoble cause of mugging. The public is advised to remain calm, as this routine protocol has been shown to have no effect on one's violent tendencies in 96% of cases.

farewell
This is kinda late, but a classmate of mine just migrated to the States. His father got a job in San Diego, so his family's going over there, probably for good.
We sent him off at the airport last Friday. It wasn't a very emotional farewell, just some hugs and photos. But his absence will definitely be regretfully registered in 4N08...chinese, chem, and math lessons will be so much more boring without his (useless but funny anyway) crapping. D:
Best wishes Huang Ji, and hopefully life isn't too bad in the US. May we meet again, if not some months/years down the road then at least over MSN.
I'll be flying off too, but luckily it's not a one-way ticket. I'm going to New Zealand on holiday for almost two weeks with my family, and we're leaving tmr morning (24 Nov) and will be back on 7 Dec.
A pity though that our trip clashes with THIMUN Singapore. It's been a fun week acting as the delegate of Japan (nihongo!) but ill be missing the last day - incidentally also tmr. That means i won't be around for all the tears goodbyes, farewell hugs and mass photos. And ill won't get to know the superlative nominations either. T_T
At least i managed to go for the THIMUN dinner and dance - held at Night Safari, heh. Heard last year's was better though...the DJ sucks this year (boo for timberlake and those slow songs) and KC wasn't around to breakdance (he can windmill, srsly! o_O)
Still, the food's pretty tasty and there's a proper dance floor, so i guess it wasn't too bad.
Guess who the poseur in the photo is! It's not too hard...=P Maybe ill sign up next year again as an admin staff for THIMUN. Sure they're just saikang warriors, but at least you get to attend the event without all the complicated preparations for delegates and you get to read flirtatious notes...then get the Chair to read them out to everyone.
My flight's at 8.40 am...that means i gotta wake up in like 5 hours lol. To all readers who're actually still visitng despite my weeks of inactivity, sayonara for now!

Im stoning in computer lab 2 in school now. There's supposed to be a meeting for all thimun singapore delegates today at comp lab 1, but its locked and THE COMPUTERS ARE MISSING WTF. (Guess they're replacing them, cos comp lab 2 has cool new CPUs and keyboards <3)
Great planning Krison (our teacher ic) has. The event starts in two weeks, and we just got informed of our delegation. And i think he's not even in school. D:
Oh well, free air-con i guess. We're leaving at 12.45 if more people don't turn up...less than 25% attendance here. =/
UPDATE: Glendon and i met up with kuan yue at amk hub and ended up watching Game Plan. As all "family comedies" go, its hilarious at some parts, touching in others, and just plain dumb otherwise. An afternoon well spent and more productive than the MUN meeting itself. =P
