There's no use crying over spilt milk. What's over is over. Or is it? The person i (and 2 out of the 3 other blogs i linked to) mentioned/niaoed in my previous post apparently does not think so. Once again, he has shown his immaturity by "reporting to authorities" about his unhappiness about the sec 2 camp. Except that it's his mother doing the dirty work for him. She actually called up the company (Saint Adventures) and complained to them, and even talked to and lectured Faizal aka towkay and Bernard! (our camp trainers who niao that person like siao) Walao eh. To what extrememest means will a mother go to protect her fledgling child from every single tiny threat? And as usual, the boy went for couselling with Mr. Edmund Teo again (during RP today). Except this time, he actually even roped in his "best friend" Wei Qi. Pls, stop involving other people in your own matters! Are you that incapable of sorting things out yourself? How is he going to survive in the future? Lets not even talk about NS, which is only like 4-5 years away (you mean your mum can, and will complain to MINDEF just becos your platoon commander pumped you?). Heck, as early as next year, we're all gonna have to go for OBS. How is he going to survive in the jungle if he's so sheltered and afraid of everything? And not to forget that he is actualy a scout. A rather useless one at that, considering that i, an EX-scout, can tie knots better than he can. Perhaps that's becos his mum actually says that "if they pump him, he has the right to walk out of scout trainings." Im sorry to tell u this, Mrs Ooi, but your sheltering of your son does him no good at all. You have to let him grow up. Let him face reality, instead of allowing him to cower under your protective wings. He cannot depend on you forever. It's an ugly world out there - the weak get taunted and left behind. For your own son's sake, please, please stop controlling and doing everything for him! Also, Qi En, you should really try to toughen up. Be independent and brave. The main reason why you are always discriminated against is due to others' perception of you as "nerdy" and "mummy's boy." Stop reporting and complaining about every single thing to your mother. take it in your stride. And next year, when everyone is allocated into new classes, start anew. Don't make the same mistake again. I think Mr. Teo is going to come around to our class again tmr...the second time in one month over the (almost) same issue =x But i think this time, i will speak out my thoughts... Footnote: See, gahmen say must give constructive criticism, cannot encourage cynicism, so here i also got give suggestions leh! Folo gahmen standards, very de good one, hor? |
