We brought the Muar students to the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari (yea i know, those 2 places are very cliche) I have hardly any time left for blogging now, so to cut a very long story very short, we had some (boring) lab practicals for sabbaticals, then we left for the zoo, then ate dinner at KFC b4 going to the Night Safari. The first part was dam cool...they had these (native?) dancers who did cool stuff like breathing out fire. Then, we entered and headed for the Creatures of the Night show. There were very long queues outside the amphitheater, and there was quite a bit of jostling and shouting from the crowd control ppl. All this on a manday summore. what if it had been a sunday, with more tourists and visitors? Dunno what screwed up tho. then this guy beside me motioned to one of the crowd controllers, and pointed out his colleague was shouting very rudely earlier. You could see that the other guy was very flustered, and he quickly replied something to the point of: "Sorry, thank you for your understanding." Then the first guy's retort was dam pro la. He said smth like, "I think its very rude for the guides to shout like that. This is not the way to go if you want to get 4 million smiles." Niao gahmen summore. But gahmen say mus smile, then must smile, even if Night Safari staff is shouting at you to not cut queues. In the end, still can get 4 million I still have a lot more things to say (e.g. Singapore Tourism Award nominations etc.), but sadly i have really no time to talk about it now :( |
