 Just happened to be walking home that day when the old NTUC building was being torn down - and snapped a quick photo. Its quite cool to see all that glass panes and wood/steel beams splintering, not to mention sparks all over the place. If you enlarge the picture, you'll see a crane doing its job. Not very clear though. =XYeah, we guys have detsructive mindsets. Though i'd rather prefer seeing something going up in flames or a big explosion. That's really the end of the old NTUC supermarket now. No more convenient supplies - will have to walk all the way to Fairprice Xtra at the AMK Hub in future. =X The bulding's not the only thing that's going down, though. Our History scores will be, too, since we'll be getting the finalised marks tmr. What a horrid way to end term 1. =X Yeah, Mr Docherty might have praised us, saying that "the best essay have been nothing short of excellent", but that's only the best of the best. How many people will actually get that high? Perhaps a couple. In fact, if 13/20 is "near JC standard", then what is his definition of "excellent" at sec school standard? Since our History marks are inversely proportianate to our MSG, we can be prepared to have quite a few people meet Ms Tey this term. I still haven't btohered calculating my MSG yet, though i estimate it'll be 2.xx, leaning towards the 3.0 side. And Ben is utterly imba to have an MSG of 1.00 so far - even Derek didn't achieve that! So belt up and get ready for a rough ride down. It ain't reached the end yet. |
