Mug
v. The Singaporean version of cramming for exams, i.e. scanning notes into one's brain. As if it wasn't filled with enough junk already.
Only if Necessary
adv. The night before for classroom assessments; one day for lecture tests; and one day and night (per subject) for major examinations.
This author is currently on hiatus for the ignoble cause of mugging. The public is advised to remain calm, as this routine protocol has been shown to have no effect on one's violent tendencies in 96% of cases.

OB Brunei
Have just half an hour left before i leave for the airport...so rushing out a post right now...
(While at the same time, chatting on msn, saying farewell to 5 people at once, giving out some instructions and suppressing my urge to spend my last minutes playing SCO...)
Hopefully there'll still be time at the airport to use the free internet booths to blog, though i doubt it with the teachers around. =X
I'm kinda worried about this camp, considering that it's a freaking 10 days long, and the closest to that ive ever gone for is the muar exchange programme, and even then, most of that week was spent in the host's home.
Not to mention that i still don't know my grouping yet. If Lester in my group we're pretty much screwed, cos he'll probably eat up all the supplies before we can even touch it. (Obviously exaggerated, but you get the idea.)
At least i managed to change the tagboard already. Fell to the temptation of cbox after all, since it seems like there's no free tagboards better than it.
Still liked oggix though - it's chock full of features. Plus there's no cutoff for the message archival system, and most importanly, NO ADS. Sadly its not supported by a stable server and has quite a few bugs...oh well. A magnificent structure without a strong base just doesn't work out.
On the other hand, you've got cbox with pretty average features, nothing special or unique. But it's user-friendly, widely used, and has a well-maintained server. At least they toned down the ads already, though there's still the irritating lavalife ads: "Love or lust? Click here!"
Ah well, one thing would probably sum up all my thoughts at the moment pretty well...
