Or so I told andai over sms. Twas supposed to be a happy day when i returned from brunei. Till reality struck me, in the form of two smses from teachers within ten minutes of me stepping out from the Royal Brunei plane. "Can you and yiyoung (sic) come and see me after school tml with your stuff thanks" - Mr Quek "CDS negative balance, top up asap!" - Ms Wong And NO, they didn't send it during the entire 10 days i was away, but they just had to do it when i arrived back in Singapore. Seriously spoiled the mood. CRUEL, CRUEL WORLD. On that note, OB Brunei Darassalam was quite fun, actually. Twas a unique experience. One thing the camp taught me, though, was that "unique" was a great way to put things both horrible and terribly good. Sec 1 camp was a unique experience, too. Though OBBD was almost the direct opposite of it. Lots of time. No night activities. No stupid group competitions. Great watchmates. Nice instructors. And to top it all off, a three-day stay at the SEA Games Village (almost like a chalet) and one day spent in the city + mall. =) Will blog more about this camp in a while, once i've received the photos from the others (i didn't manage to get a camera, rmb) and perhaps regained my computing skills. Yeah, i took about 3 tries before i managed to type in my password correctly and double-click on the firefox/opera icons. Though i think typing this post in a fit of frustration did help me regain my typing speed. Now to face an emb/email untended for for 10 days already. I wonder how many messages ill have to read thru today. D: |
