For giving me one of the biggest shocks (except for the dust-coated seats and obese housewives) with Singapore's transport system this morning. Since i was already running late, i actually considered taking MRT to Newton, or taking 88 down to another stop where i could take 852 to school. And being the perfectionist, i spent a good few minutes deliberating which to go to. The MRT route took too long, but 852 was always crowded at that time and id have to get my buttocks sqeeuzed between other sweaty butts provided i could even get on in the first place. Thankfully a couple of 74 arrived about five minutes later, saving me the hassle of wriggling out of being late on a Mundayz. Guess you can't trust technology sometimes. WAIT WHAT IF MY COMPUTER CLOCK IS WRONG. WHAT IF EVERYONE'S CLOCKS ARE WRONG. WHAT IF ITS A CONSPIRACY BY TECHNLOGY TO DELUDE HUMANS' SENSE OF TIME. Now that would be a good explanation for being late. |
